Mountain Valley Horse Rescue

Mountain Valley Horse Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit founded in 2004. Their mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abused and neglected horses, and reduce future cases of abuse and neglect through community education and outreach. MVHR takes in horses from across the state of Colorado, and primarily serves the central mountain region. Annually, MVHR cares for 30 rescue horses and hosts over 1,000 youth for experiential learning and service programming.
